A leading investment management firm in Boston, MA is looking for OTC Derivatives Analyst to join their team. As the OTC Derivatives Analyst, you will responsible for supporting the OTC settlement and post-execution life cycle event process for all OTC derivative products. This will include exception based management of the trade capture workflow, life cycle event processing, multiple daily reconciliations, and new product implementation for all OTC derivative activity across a suite of applications. Responsibilities for the OTC Derivatives Analyst:
  • Manage outstanding trade and reconciliation breaks
  • Review OTC trade communication to ensure that new trades and amendments are captured properly and subsequently communicated to State Street IMS West
  • Serve as an escalation point for resolution of trade communication and settlements queries raised by dealers
  • Serve as a resource for internal teams handling OTC derivative-related queries and audit requests from clients and their agents
  • Process exceptional events that impact OTC derivatives positions, including credit events, corporate actions, and client transitions
  • Identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work daily with Brokers and Trading and Technology teams
  • Process life cycle events (rate resets, account openings, etc.) and resolution of reconciliation issues

Requirements for the OTC Derivatives Analyst:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree and 2-4 years of relevant industry experience, preferably with derivatives
  • Must be well organized, motivated, and possess strong problem solving skills
  • Demonstrate analytical and writing skills, effective communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail
  • Be a self-starter and independent thinker is a prerequisite
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
