Responsibilities for the Paralegal:
  • Review and revise confidentiality agreements based on template agreements
  • Responsible for commercial real estate transactions
  • Responsible for loan administration requests, such as assumptions of loans, discharges of mortgages, easements, amendments, consents and waivers under supervisions of division lawyers
  • Review commercial leases
  • Draft and negotiate tenant estoppel certificates and subordination and non disturbance agreements
  • Review and negotiate title insurance policies and ALTA surveys
  • Discovery and document management for litigation relating to applicable investments
  • Ability to meet deadlines and assist with closings
  • Organize physical and digit documents
  • Demonstrate proficiency with department and company guidelines and policies
Requirements for the Paralegal:
  • Paralegal certificate or Bachelor’ s Degree plus demonstrated experience with law firm or corporate law department required
  • Ability to work with other paralegals and administrative assistants on department projects and initiatives
  • 5-7 years’ prior experience with the above responsibilities in a law firm or corporate law department preferred
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
