Our client in Wilmington, MA is immediately seeking a Paralegal to join their team part-time. In this contract role, you will work 15 hours two days a week. Apply today!

Responsibilities for the Paralegal:
  • Coordinate, organize, and maintain the agency's site files, including any responses to requests for Information (RFIs) and/or litigation pleadings
  • Coordinate with the agency's staff (both program and attorneys) regarding any tracking database to track lists of PRPs
  • Assist with and provide information and/or records in response to public records requests and/or discovery
  • Assist with and provide information and/or records in response to public records requests and/or discovery
  • Assist the agency in the preparation of any litigation pleadings, testimony for any settlement negotiations and/or administrative hearings, draft motions, and legal memoranda
  • Identify and summarize any procedural and legal issues identified
  • Strategize and troubleshoot with the agency counsel regarding any procedural and legal issues that have been identified

Requirements for the Paralegal:
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship                     

Contract Employee Benefits:
