Our client in Boston, MA is seeking a Part Time Administrative Support to join their team. In this contract role, you will be responsible for all district-wide K-12 activities related to supporting the department directors. Apply today

Responsibilities for the Part Time Administrative Support:
  • Greet visitors and respond to questions and concerns
  • Answer phones and respond to questions from parents, students, and other district personnel
  • Coordinate substitute coverage and distribution of teaching materials by day or by period
  • Communicate regarding staff and teacher needs, student discipline and parent inquiries, across school sites
  • Provide student intervention to support teachers, staff and directors when directors are off-site
  • Communicate with Boston resident families and students
  • Assist in community outreach
  • Assist in parent communications
  • Initiate and coordinate the new student placement process
  • Assist with scheduling, management, distribution, collection and processing of standardized test
  • Plan events
  • File, fax, copy and enter data
  • Edit correspondence and documents
  • Meet deadlines
  • Manage, sort and distribute mail
Requirements for the Part Time Administrative Support:
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
