In this contract-to-hire role, you will address provider inquiries received through the company’ s 800 numbers, including claim status, member eligibility and benefits. Requirements for the Health Insurance Customer Service Representative:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare or insurance environment
  • Respond to telephone inquiries from providers within established timeframes utilizing current reference materials and available resources
  • Research and identify any processing inaccuracies in claim payments and route to the appropriate team member for claim adjustment
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Word and Excel, Microsoft Outlook and the ability to master internal computer applications
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to function well in a team environment
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
