Responsibilities for the Part-Time Program Coordinator:
  • Organize and implement projects related to event planning, including publicity and outreach to promote
  • Responsible for planning, marketing, and providing support for program activities, including research and production of related reports and marketing materials
  • Organize and manage projects and events such as lectures and school events; serve as liaison to external groups dealing with programs and related issues
  • Compile material and administration of program website and social media platforms
  • Work with faculty, staff, and other law school community members to understand event objectives and requirements for producing academic conferences, lectures, and faculty and student events during the busy fall semester
  • Develops plans for each event, including requirements for location, lodging and travel, meeting facilities, technology, media, security, menus, and marketing
  • Coordinate all contracts/agreements for events, both within the University and with external organizations, for all event-related expenses
  • Provide on-site coordination and problem resolution ensuring that all meeting aspects are executed as planned to ensure a consistently positive experience for all event participants
Requirements for the Part-Time Program Coordinator:
  • Expertise in program administration, event organization and management, outreach and marketing communications is desirable
  • Bachelor’ s Degree
  • Report directly to department head
  • Familiarity with use of WordPress would be beneficial
  • Expertise in use of digital media and graphic design software, not required but could be beneficial
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
