A premiere law firm in Boston, MA is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to join their team. As the Receptionist, you will assist all firm personnel and clients, and will be responsible for booking conference rooms, visiting attorney offices and reservations, greeting clients and answering calls made to the office's main switch board. Compensation: $28K

Responsibilities for the Part-Time Receptionist:
  • Answer department phones and handles client/customer requests
  • Assign conference rooms and visiting attorney offices as requested
  • Make arrangements with dining services, office services and other departments to ensure that all requests for space, food, special equipment and other facilities requested are provided seamlessly
  • Assist with coordinating and monitoring on-site and off-site events
  • Perform basic office support services as needed by clients in Conference Center (light printing requests, table tents, etc.)
  • Assist office services with basic conference room set ups as needed (i.e., configuration of chairs, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, attorneys and staff and other internal customers
  • Help build relationships with, and maintain database for, service providers (hotels, event venues, restaurants, florists, etc.)
  • Notify firm personnel of client/visitor arrival
  • Assist office services to ensure conference room and visiting attorney offices are clean and adequately supplied 
Requirements for the Part-Time Receptionist:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of related experience
  • Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
  • Maintain high level of customer service
  • Ability to learn and operate basic A/V equipment
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
