A national, leading real estate investment trust in Boston, MA is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their team. As the Payroll Coordinator, you will report to the Vice President of Property Accounting who will provide supervision and guidance. If you have  1-2 years of experience, apply today!

Compensation: $50-60K

Responsibilities for the Payroll Coordinator:
  • Assist with the preparation, process and review of weekly and biweekly payrolls
  • Assist in the administration of the daily workflow of payroll operations
  • Review funding of payrolls and benefits plans (401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, etc.)
  • Maintain attendance tracking in ADP/e-Time
  • Interface with Human Resources on processing employee transactions and activities related to the transfer of data from the HRIS system to ADP
  • Assist in ensuring that all payroll transactions are in compliance with internal/external audit requirements
  • Interface with external auditing firm during payroll related audits
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of payroll policies and procedures manual
  • Coordinate with ADP to set up new earnings and deduction codes, accumulators, etc. as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of the Federal, State and Local tax information for quarterly filings

Requirements for the Payroll Coordinator:
  • Associate degree required; bachelor’ s degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
  • 1-2 years of related work experience highly desirable
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles 
  • Previous experience with ADP preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access
  • Ability to efficiently work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Detail and results oriented
  • Proven initiative, and demonstrated skills for organization and multi-task prioritization
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
