Our client in Boston, MA is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join their team. As the Portfolio Analyst, you will be responsible for managing critical inputs to the firm’ s investment process, managing the services provided by our outsourced middle-office, and supporting our portfolio management team, processes and investment initiatives. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of the investment process and have experience in financial services or asset management. This position pays up to $60K-80K. Apply today!

Responsibilities for the Portfolio Analyst:
  • Use critical thinking, analytical skills and curiosity to investigate and evaluate cash, equity and derivative transaction and position information
  • Lead and contribute to the implementation of critical and strategic investment initiatives
  • Contribute to the design and execution of new and improved business workflows, both within Investment Services as well as across teams as it relates to updates to the investment processes
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal groups including our client relationship management, investment processes group and portfolio management teams
  • Support adding value for clients and investment process
  • Develop strong relationships with external parties such outsourced middle-office trade, brokers and custodians
Requirements for the Portfolio Analyst:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Accounting or Finance concentration preferred
  • 3-8 years of professional experience in the Asset Management Industry
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
