Compensation: $55K-$65K based on experience 

A leading university in Boston, MA is seeking a Pre-Award Administrator to join their team. In this job role, you will serve as the central point of contact and subject matter expert for all outgoing subawards and be responsible for subrecipient prequalification, monitoring, subaward issuance, fund reservation, and FFATA reporting. You will also work regularly with faculty, research administrators and central staff at other institutions to ensure timely and compliant processing of subcontracts. Requirements for the   Pre-Award Administrator:
  • Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience
  • Solid knowledge in research administration principles to this role
  • Familiarity with a variety of prime sponsors, federal and non-federal, the Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP) templates and other subcontract formats
  • Familiarity with appropriate flow-down of award terms and conditions, including changes under the Uniform Guidance, and with federal contracts
  • Ability to adapt to an advanced knowledge of skills, methods, practices, policies and/or procedures and a moderate degree of innovation, analysis and reasoning to complete work
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
