Responsibilities for the Procurement  Project Manager:
  • Operations and Administration
    • Actively manage the department’ s project calendar and resource schedules
    • Facilitate operational issues tracking, triage efforts and communications through drafting meeting agendas, minutes, and conducting follow ups
    • Operations and projects documentation support by maintaining project and operations archives
  • Project facilitation, analysis and communication
    • Prepare high-level and detailed project plans, process flows and issue tracking sheets
    • Own development of and managing to the project timeline
    • Responsible for escalating issues and following them to resolution
    • Coordinate with key business stakeholders and project managers at the various stages of project development, including scoping, technical design, development, testing, implementation, and release planning
    • Act as key communications liaison across functional areas and teams, including business units and external vendors
    • Create bi-weekly or monthly status reports for executive management on project status, and application adoption
    • Serve as a source of project/business analysis on operational and projects and initiatives

Requirements for the Procurement  Project Manager:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6 years minimum of experience preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments under tight deadlines
  • Problem solving and identification skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • An understanding of procurement processes and strategic sourcing preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
