A top utilities company in Waltham, MA is seeking a Project Analyst to join their team. In this contract role, you will be an integral member of the SAP Program Delivery team and will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of various activities associated with the projects assigned to the team. Responsibilities for the Project Analyst:
  • Schedule/coordinate activities to include meetings, teleconferences, video conferences, etc.
  • Participate in both internal and external meetings, keeping accurate notes and distributing meeting minutes as appropriate
  • Prepare project organization and communication charts relating to the projects
  • Assist in the development of project status, program board and/or steering committee material
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team and external parties
  • Assist in tracking development, approval and processing for all Statement of works, Engage WPs, project lifecycle deliverables, other
  • Assist in the development of the closure paper and associated proceedings
  • Assist with tracking and coordination of project lifecycle deliverables and stage gates, as prescribed by the established project delivery methodology
  • Interface with members of Strategy and Relationship Management, Planning and Performance Management, Service Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, Centers of Excellence and Security, Business Managers, Supplier Organization Managers
Requirements for the Project Analyst:
  • Prior experience with SAP is preferred but not mandatory
  • Prior experience working with Human Resources (HR) is preferred but not mandatory
  • Bachelor's Degree and more than 3+ years of related experience OR in lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience
  • Project Analyst experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the MS Office Suite of products is a must
  • Experience in fact finding including knowledge and understanding of where to find and how to present relevant information
  • Handle multiple tasks and determine priorities in an ever changing environment
  • Work independently as well as in a team based environment
  • Organize and prioritize work effectively and efficiently
  • Quickly grasp complex issues and effectively integrate, compile and analyze complex information and data
  • Problem solve by providing timely and accurate interpretation of analyses
  • Remain flexible/ adaptable as priorities change
  • Communicate effectively and tactfully, both orally and in writing
  • Prepare and conduct a quality presentation to large groups, all levels of leadership and key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
