A top law firm named in the National Law Journals 2019 Pro Bono Hot List is looking for a Legal Public Relations Manager to join their Boston office. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a communications and public relations program for the firm and help deepen relationships with journalists to earn quality media coverage. Compensation: Up to $160K

Responsibilities for the Legal Public Relations Manager:
  • Manage two members of the public relations team as well as media opportunities for the Transactional Department
  • Work closely with the public relations director, public relations specialist, public relations coordinator, client development liaison teams, and firm leadership and partners to build and deepen relationships with journalists and earn media coverage
  • Execute a communications and public relations program for the firm’ s transactional, IP and IP Litigation practices seizing opportunities to build on the firm’ s business goals and reputation for excellence in the legal field.
  • Execute press strategies around lateral hires and other newsworthy developments.

Requirements for the Legal Public Relations Manager:
  • Law firm experience
  • Public relations experience
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
