Responsibilities for the Purchasing Associate:
  • Coordinate the operation of the central purchase order (PO) support desk, central pay manager (CPM) systems, and service and repair programs
  • Interact with assigned vendors on issues
  • Provide a high level of support to programs, departments, and management for purchasing and operational needs
Requirements for the Purchasing Associate:
  • BA is preferred, but experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
  • 2+ years of purchasing experience
  • Understanding of cost centers cost distribution
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
