Our client in Woburn, MA is seeking a Recruiter to join their team. In this contract role, you will be responsible for achieving staffing objectives throughout the organization. Primary duties include supporting the Human Resources Department through the development and execution of recruiting plans, networking through various outlets and employing traditional sourcing strategies while simultaneously developing new, creative recruiting ideas. This position reports directly to the Senior Human Resources Manager and includes frequent travel to Stoughton, MA and Canton, MA. Apply today!

Responsibilities for the Recruiter:
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
  • Generate job descriptions based on company needs
  • Manage company job postings and utilizing various candidate tracking programs
  • Screen applicants through a variety of channels, including in-person and phone interviews
  • Determine applicant qualifications through interviews, response analysis and comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Communicate employer information and benefits during screening process
  • Perform reference and background checks
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Stay current on the company’ s organization structure, policies and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations and creating new contacts within the industry
  • Complete timely reports on employment activity
  • Conduct exit interviews with terminated employees
  • Notify candidates of their application status

Requirements for the Recruiter:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience with managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and agency relationships
  • Ability to execute various recruiting strategies, including candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management
  • PHR certification preferred
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings and career fairs and maintain a flexible schedule
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
