Compensation: Up to $100K

Responsibilities for the  Senior Corporate Paralegal:
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies throughout the duration of a transaction
  • Supervise and oversee the work product of and provide guidance to Paralegals, Project Assistants, Secretaries and Support Departments, prior to attorney review
  • Coordinate with other areas/departments of the Firm to develop efficient procedures/communications to stream-line processes and satisfy various department needs
  • Analyze information pertaining to relevant issues to a transaction
  • Review invoices and billing entries for transactional activities to ensure their accuracy
  • Coordinate outside services, either directly or through support departments, and act as a liaison with involved third parties
  • Train paralegals and new attorneys in local office and department procedures and technical aspects of the paralegal area of expertise
  • Promote effective work practices and work as a team leader

  Requirements for the  Senior Corporate Paralegal:                
  • Bachelor’ s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
  • Minimum of ten full years of large law firm corporate experience
  • Experience in Capital Markets, Private Equity, and M&A matters
  • Knowledge of internal software applications such as word processing, internet searching skills, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Knowledge of legal concepts and methodologies        
  • Communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a client service focus
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
