Responsibilities for the Senior Financial Analyst:
  • Be a key business partner, providing financial review to the team
  • Develop and maintain open relationships with departments, Accounting, Information Systems, as well as Practice and Finance Managers
  • Provide high-level analyses for, and research around, a broad range of business issues
  • Work with key administrative and clinical leaders, formulate and assist in the annual budget and forecasts on a modified cash-basis level
  • Participate in monthly close activities, as required, to compile the monthly, quarterly, and year-end journal entries
  • Model the ROI for new initiatives and strategic assessment efforts across all programs
  • Conduct a wide variety of detailed analyses to measure and evaluate payer reimbursement for telemedicine procedures 
  • Assist with the development of fee structures and contractual agreements for regional, national, and international partners and clients
  • Analyze proposed, operational budget requests
  • Conduct a wide variety of analyses and forecasts to track goals and support special projects
  • Develop process flows with key data reporting tasks and funds flow maps
  • Identify areas to streamline and improve existing processes (e.g. payment processes, financial and performance reporting, etc.)
  • Manage contractual invoicing and the opening of Accounts Payable purchase orders and facilitate transactions processing in PeopleSoft
Requirements for the Senior Financial Analyst:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science required, preferably in Finance/Accounting
  • 3-5 years of progressive financial and operational planning and analysis experience, ideally in a Healthcare setting required
  • PeopleSoft, Hyperion, Cognos Business Tools, all Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
  • Ability to present and communicate knowledge and information with all levels of clinical and administrative staff in a clear and concise manner 
  • Capable of operating at both the strategic and tactical level
  • Motivated self-starter with an extreme attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability and willingness to work independently and to take initiative when required
  • Ability to work with individuals at various levels of the organization
  • Analytical aptitude, with the ability to create/extract/manipulate/analyze financial and operational data
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of escrow, accrual, capital, depreciation, and any other relevant analyses
  • Financial and operational modeling skills
  • Ability to work with and learn multiple financial and reporting systems
  • Ability to build collaboration across the organization
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
