Our higher education client in Cambridge, MA is looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join their team. In this role, you will serve as the main human resources contact for employees and provide HR guidance to all of the college’ s offices. Compensation: $65K

Responsibilities for the Senior Human Resources Generalist:
  • Manage the relationship with vendors and brokers and stays current on all details of the institution's employment benefits programs
  • Manage all benefits communications with faculty, staff and administrators and manages all paperwork and invoices associated with benefits administration 
  • Serve as primary point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, payroll, policies, and other HR programs
  • Assist management with disciplinary and separation processes, partnering with HR leader on complex disciplinary issues and all separations
  • Conduct employee onboarding and orientation and ensure processes are being conducted using the institution's resources and materials
  • Assist with data requests and research for reports and surveys, such as IPEDS, CUPA, etc.
  • Assist in driving the institution's culture by promoting college-wide initiatives and building regional initiatives to support employee engagement
  • Participate in the execution of the institution's training program
  • Manage specific projects as determined by the VP of Human Resources, as well as participating in other areas of the HR team

Requirements for the Senior Human Resources Generalist:
  • Bachelor’ s degree
  • Three to five years of experience
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
