An employee oriented law firm in Boston, MA is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Human Resources Generalist to join their collaborative HR department. As the Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for recruiting, performance management, workflow and staff coverage, and general HRIS functions. This position pays up to $65K-$70K. Responsibilities for the Senior Human Resources Generalist:
  • Recruit for staff positions, including posting positions, reviewing resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, and candidate tracking
  • Review and assess Attorney/Legal Administrative Assistant pairings, including managing and assigning floater Legal Administrative Assistants, arranging backup coverage, and monitoring and approving professional staff time off requests
  • Facilitate professional staff review process, including managing evaluation software, scheduling review meetings, and participating in professional staff review meetings with Human Resources Manager
  • Assist with maintaining HRIS, including reporting and data entry
  • Provide backup to Human Resources Assistant for administration of benefits and payroll
Requirements for the Senior Human Resources Generalist:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree and 4-6 years of human resources experience required, preferably within a law firm setting
  • Experience with ADP a plus
  • Organized and professional, with a strong customer/client service focus and the ability to utilize discretion in safeguarding sensitive employee information
  • Ability to multitask required, with exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
