Our client in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Marketing Programs Manager who has proven expertise in events management. The Senior Marketing Programs Manager will create plans to engage customers to leave a lasting impression to drive lead generation. The events are around the world and span from large industry research and clinical tradeshows to virtual webinars. Responsibilities for the Senior Marketing Programs Manager:
  • Develop strong relationships and foster collaboration with Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, and other technical and business leaders, aligning event plans to strategy and internal stakeholders’ objectives
  • Lead event promotional activities and create new tools to engage customers before an event starts all the way through the execution and follow up
  • Bring out-of-the-box ideas and creative approaches to improving audience engagement and interaction
  • Responsible for program planning, execution, task management, and maintaining strong relationships with event vendors, research and medical societies and related media partners
  • Prepare and manage budgets while ensuring we maximize opportunities at each event
  • Analyze the event campaign effectiveness with a mindset for continuous improvement
Requirements for the Senior Marketing Programs Manager:
  • Expertise in creating and designing event programs, including event themes, messaging, branding
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a knack for leading people politely and pleasantly
  • Experience driving event-based marketing campaigns for lead generation
  • Creative thinker and fast learner, ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
  • Experience with the logistics associated with events, their vendors, and the pitfalls to avoid
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of business leaders and other key stakeholders
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in event and conference planning and event marketing in a fast-paced environment with shifts in strategic priorities
  • The willingness to take risks and fail fast
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
