Seeking a flexible part time job? Look no further. A top university has an opening for a Senior Program Coordinator to join their team on a part time, contract basis through December, 2018. The hours are flexible (see schedule below) so this is a great opportunity for anyone needed to balance work and life priorities.

As the Senior Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for overall program coordination and development. You will be setting goals for certain programs and implementing plans to meet these desired outcomes. Additionally, the coordinator will assess needs of the staff and organize trainings for them, plus helping with communication strategies to support program goals.

Hours: Expected at 20/week

There is flexibility with the schedule, with options being:
  • 5 days a week with hours being 9: 00am-1: 00pm, or 1: 00pm-5: 00pm
  • 4 days a week Mon-Thurs hours being 9: 00am-2: 00pm or 12: 00-5: 00pm
  • 3 days a week with any combination Mon-Thus with two 8 hour days (9-5pm) and one 4 hour day with a 9: 00am-1: 00pm, or 1: 00pm-5: 00pm schedule.

Responsibilities for the Senior Program Coordinator:
  • Assist in the development of short and long term plans for programs, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance
  • Assist in design of performance objectives and implement and monitor programming to meet desired outcomes
  • Organize training seminars to address staff needs and identify relevant external training opportunities
  • Assist with the development of public relations and communications strategies to support program goals and increase community awareness
  • Additional responsibilities may include making travel and meeting arrangements, screening calls, composing letters and reports, preparing presentations and financial data

Requirements for the Senior Program Coordinator:
  • Advanced computer skills including Word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software
  • Ability to perform Internet research
  • Exercise discretion while working with confidential information
  • Strong interpersonal skills, leadership, negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
