Responsibilities for the Senior Financial Analyst:
  • Analyze various reports in detail, comparing previous month activities and year to date results
  • Review and ensure accuracy of quarterly reports
  • Assist in the production of monthly financial reporting package for CareGroup
  • Determine information needs of sites and designs reports
  • Works closely with Regional Directors in providing timely financial data for their regions
  • Establish new contracts in the system for new sites and update contracts with status changes for existing sites
  • Reconfigure allocation percentages for sites
  • Provide analyses of physician and practice site contract developments and issues
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses, research and follow up, as needed
  • Compile monthly P&L statements for all practice sites
  • Work closely and maintain effective relationship with organization’ s Practice Managers to address budget variances and issues
  • Prepare a monthly management summary of operating results and budget variance analyses
Requirements for the Senior Financial Analyst:
  • Bachelor's degree required in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3-5 years related work experience
  • 3 years of progressive experience, preferably within a health care setting
  • Ability to communicate well with physicians
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
