Our client in Boston, MA is looking for a Staff Assistant to join their team. In this contract role, you will perform complex and diverse duties, under limited supervision, and will be responsible for processing most post-doctoral and international DIS applications. Responsibilities for the Staff Assistant:
  • Provide general guidance and explanation of departmental policies and procedures
  • Research and resolve customer problems and concerns
  • Produce complex documents and spreadsheets
  • Prepare and drafts letters, memos, reports, syllabi, brochures, newsletters and other material for department
  • Proofread and edits documents; designs layout and graphics for materials
  • Provide information and answers questions about department Programs or Projects
  • Develop and tracks database of  students, study participants or other constituents
  • Update web information and drafts content for posting

  Requirements for the Staff Assistant:
  • High school diploma/GED and 2-4 years of administrative experience or college degree with 1-3 years’ experience
  • Bookkeeping or basic accounting knowledge
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
