Responsibilities for the Talent Acquisition Specialist:
  • Lead the full cycle of the recruitment process for all level employees including executive level recruiting
  • Oversee management of requisition activity and candidate status within the applicant tracking system
  • Update ATS (Workday) to accurately reflect candidate status, changes, etc.
  • Provide HR advice and consulting support to managers
  • Use independent judgment and discretion to support all functions of the HR Department
  • Ensure company policies are up to date and legislative compliance (Canadian and U.S.) for all HR related processes
  • Ensure HR-related deadlines are met on a timely and accurate basis
  • Prepare and analyze reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company, including periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested
  • Provide necessary education and materials to managers and employees
Requirements for the Talent Acquisition Specialist:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5+ years of high volume recruiting experience with significant experience recruiting for positions at all levels in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency with HRIS technology preferably Workday or other major HRIS platform, Internet technologies, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience maintaining systems that support complex organizations covering multiple geographies
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
