Responsibilities for the Entry Level Trade Operations Analyst:
  • Research and resolve trade and FX discrepancies by interacting with brokers, banks, and client personnel
  • Instruct trades and trade amendments to service providers when necessary
  • Oversee external service providers (i.e. brokers, banks and vendors) 
  • Assist with the management and hiring of co-op students and interns
  • Manage strategic projects and initiatives as well as prioritizing information technology needs and requirements        
  • Participate in firm and industry working groups
  • Prepare reports for management and internal committees
  • Mitigate risk through strong procedural discipline and prudent judgement
  • Research and evaluate operational requirements of new market/asset types being considered for investment or changes to existing markets
  • Assist other areas of the firm to support client needs and respond to general custody and trading inquires
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements for the Entry Level Trade Operations Analyst:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree
  • 1-4 years relevant work experience
  • Graduate education and/or professional course work/certifications are a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with an emphasis on accuracy, concision and timeliness
  • Experience with commonly used business applications such as ALERT, OASYS, Bloomberg, Omgeo Connect/CTM, Omgeo Trade Suite and SWIFT are a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel) is required
  • Technical skills, such as data mining via SQL are a plus
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
