An employee oriented Boston based law firm is looking for an experienced Trust and Estate Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. As the Trust and Estate Legal Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for the preparation of draft estate plan documents and final documents for execution. This position supports the Probate/Estate Administration by creating and maintaining pleadings binders of estate administration cases and related tax returns; and the preparation of probate documents and filing packages for probate court. Responsibilities for the Trust and Estate Legal Administrative Assistant:
  • Draft letters to clients and create estate planning binders
  • Maintain client files with current estate plans
  • Handle transmission of original estate plan documents to firm vault
  • Assist with monthly client billing to include reviewing and editing of pre-bills and sending final invoices to clients in a timely manner
  • Maintain calendar and set appointments for attorneys
  • Maintain contacts in Outlook
  • Set up new client matters to include drafting of fee agreements
Requirements for the Trust and Estate Legal Administrative Assistant:
  • 3 years of Trusts and Estates experience
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all client and firm matters
  • Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
