Our client in Boston, MA is seeking a Wealth Advisor and Planner to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing client relationships and helping our clients plan for their short and long-term financial goals. You will assess clients' goals and objectives and evaluate their assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, estate and income tax status to develop strategies and make and present financial recommendations.

In addition, the Wealth Advisor and Planner will assist the CIO and others on the wealth management team with investment and third-party manager due diligence and model portfolio development and monitoring. This person will take an active role in the management of client portfolios and delivery of performance results. Apply today!

Compensation: Up to $100K

Responsibilities for the Wealth Advisor and Planner:
  • Provide financial planning and investment advisory services to clients in collaboration with other tax, legal, and other professionals internal and external as necessary
  • Monitor, analyze, and rebalance client investment portfolios
  • Review clients’ financial performance in order to determine the need for plan reassessment and meet with clients to review and discuss
  • Adhere to Investment Policy Statements and firm investment strategies/policies
  • Recommend strategies clients can use to achieve their financial goals and objectives
  • Monitor financial market trends to ensure that plans are effective, and to identify any necessary updates
  • Create wealth management proposals for new clients
  • Maintain client base, keep current client plans up-to-date, and deliver raving fan service
  • Update CRM to document all client and other important interactions
Requirements for the Wealth Advisor and Planner:
  • 8-10 years’ experience in investment/wealth management and/or financial advisory services, with a demonstrated ability to support complex client relationships
  • Bachelor’ s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Series 7 license; CFP® preferred
  • Excellent active listening/critical thinking/reading comprehension and ability to communicate clearly
  • Well organized with the ability to manage time effectively while managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to influence people – strong interpersonal skills
  • Possess a commitment to professionalism, honesty and a strong work ethic
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, financial planning concepts, and services delivered, operations supporting them and pertinent regulations affecting their delivery
