Our client in Boston, MA is seeking a Wealth Planner to join their team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will support multiple Wealth Advisors on the delivery of wealth management services to existing client relationships. Responsibilities for the Wealth Planner:
  • Support multiple Wealth Advisors in the development, execution, and management of customized financial plans 
  • Help prepare for and participate in client review meetings
  • Document client issues, meetings, and related communications in the firm’ s CRM
  • Review, organize and maintain files and records for all assigned client relationships
  • Assist the operations team in account transition and implementation to ensure smooth delivery of service
  • Assist in all aspects of each relationship, including financial planning, investment management, estate and tax planning, life insurance and family legacy planning
  • Develop knowledge of the client’ s entire financial and family situation to be able to assist in the structure of a holistic financial and investment plan
  • Discuss cash flow needs, debt and expense management with clients
  • Build out estate flow and balance sheet exhibits for review with clients
  • Work with Wealth Advisors to identity issues and planning opportunities
  • Monitor asset allocation; evaluate need to rebalance accounts
  • Review client portfolio issues (taxes, liquidity, capital calls, etc.)
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with Centers of Influence associated with existing clients
Requirements for the Wealth Planner:
  • Bachelor’ s degree
  • CFP® preferred; successful completion of CFP® certification expected within 2 years of hire
  • 7 years of related work experience in financial services in financial planning, relationship management or client service capacity
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal
  • Strong client service orientation and ability to handle confidential information
  • Analytical, problem solving/decision making, negotiation, influencing, organization and conflict resolution skills
  • Pro-active, self-motivated, and highly organized
  • Ability to work with multiple individuals in a team-oriented environment
  • Work well under time constraints while maintaining high levels of accuracy
  • Familiarity with financial planning software
  • Series 65 license or successful completion within six months of hire
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
